We will be open on Saturday, November 22nd and then every day until Christmas or we sell out of trees.
We sell Nordman Fir cut Christmas trees, the Nordman Fir is known for there reduced needle drop and stunning appearance.
Its best to store your tree either outside or in a garage until you are ready to put it up.
When you do put it up try and pick a place away from things like a fire or radiator as this will dry it out, cut an inch off the bottom to help with water uptake and place in a water-holding stand. Please check the water daily as they can drink quite a lot. If you have underfloor heating it is advisable to try and raise the tree off the floor by placing it on a small table or something similar to get it away from the heat.
Caring for Your Christmas Tree
To ensure your Christmas tree remains fresh throughout the Christmas period, follow these simple care instructions:
Storage:
Store the tree outdoors or in a garage until you're ready to display it. This will help maintain its freshness and prevent it from drying out prematurely.
Placement:
Choose a location away from heat sources, such as fireplaces or radiators. Excessive heat can cause the tree to dry out and lose its needles.
Watering:
Cut an inch off the bottom of the tree's trunk at a 45-degree angle. This will improve water uptake.
Place the tree in a sturdy, water-holding stand. Fill the stand with water and check the water level daily. Christmas trees can drink a surprisingly large amount of water, so ensure it remains hydrated.
Underfloor Heating:
If your home has underfloor heating, place the tree on a small table or similar surface to elevate it from the heat source. This will prevent the roots from drying out.
By following these simple guidelines, you can ensure your Christmas tree remains beautiful and fresh throughout the holiday season.
